Jared graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a degree in music composition. He writes primarily for piano, flute, solo voice, guitar, and choir, but has also written for brass, strings, percussion, and orchestra among others. Jared enjoys combining different musical styles with unexpected instruments, such as jazz fusion for recorder and electric guitar, or a metal piece for concert band.
